Here are the short videos that show the space that was created as a result (unfortunately there are people talking and even jumping in the background, but otherwise it is still possible to see and listen to the installation).

Animations (Part of the installation)
This project has been an eye-opening experience for me. It made me realise that rigid ideas are not the kind of approach that should be taken when dealing with creative dilemmas. At the very beginning of the project I had to change my concept three times and after that I felt determined to stick to the idea of creating an uncomfortable alienating environment that stemmed from the experience of being not accepted in social environments (that in my mind stood from the lack of acceptance of other cultures). During the course of the project, I encountered many challenges in regards to the technical aspect as well as the issue of finding the right visuals that would correlate to my concept. As the project was gradually coming together, I started realising that the core if the installation was changing, moving to a more global issue: from just being uncomfortable cultural experience It reached the point of being artificial with elements that resemble normal reality. At that point my mind was gravitating towards using it to make the space more alien. When the installation finally came together the experience that was created felt different. I assume that over the course of time the element of the combination of artificial and natural overtook and it developed slightly differently from what I expected.
The space became more synthetic, artificially created but evidently having easily recognisable features (plants). I intended to keep installation surreal, consequently open to interpretation and being based on individual experiences of every viewer. Moreover the space is supposed to be entered by one viewer at a time, that also should serve the purpose of eliminating any more human presence as it could destroy the experience. Nevertheless I am willing to express my own view and intentions. The concept does derive from the very first idea of being uncomfortable, in a space where you do not belong. Here I tried to create that space where you can not place yourself, as it disturbingly reminds you of something at the same time seems to be odd and unknown. Presence of time or to be more precise consistency that exists within time is expressed through the vegetation, it gives a sense of time, making viewers aware of its presence, but staying unidentifiable, suggesting that there is a historical background, but untraceable (that idea came from Ana Mendieta’s exhibition, where trees symbolise time). Hence it symbolises artificially created parallel world that is alien and exists independently from our reality. Personally, I would identify any sort of alienation in our lives as something that should not belong to our world, but should be seen as alien, thus belong to this space
As for improvements, I want to say that I could definitely develop and improve the eye hemispheres as well as the pedestals for them, as well as taking the imagery further by incorporating more symbolism.
